What is it that makes us essentially human? What does the human being have that can never be replicated by AI, or anything else that doesn’t have the imprint of human inspiration, imagination or intuition? In a word: Soul. Only the human being has the capacity to imagine a world better than the one in which we currently live. Only the human being has the capacity to intuit being a part of something greater than ourselves, but can also assert that a single individual can make a real difference in the world and inspire others to do the same. If you dare to embrace your authentic self and dare to dream of the possibilities of the human spirit, this course is for you.

Crafts for Humanity event

Crafts for Humanity

We're coming together to decorate canvas bags and fill them with gifts that will be donated to children served by the Department of Children and Families. Join us in spreading holiday cheer and love to children in need through our Crafts for Humanity volunteer event!

What to Expect: You’ll receive a 13x13 canvas bag and a set of fabric markers to unleash your creativity. We’ll provide holiday-themed outline prints for inspiration. Whether you're a beginner or experienced crafter, you'll have fun personalizing bags with holiday designs. How You Can Help: Please bring a small, age-appropriate gift for a child between 1-12 years old. Suggested items include games, coloring books, puzzles, or cards like Crazy Eights. Your thoughtfully chosen gift will be placed in the canvas bag you create and donated to a child in need.

Let’s come together to create something special and make the holidays brighter for a child. Your creativity, time, and generosity will add a touch of joy to their lives.
